From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot said that he departed cedar city at about 0700 after some time he noticed that a red light was blinking indicating that some engine parameter was outside its range although the engine kept running at full power with no other indication that the engine had a problem. The GPS he was using told him that the nearest airport was Green River, UT. He decided to make a precautionary landing when the GPS said he was over the airport he could not see it so he landed on a narrow dirt road which was very rough. The aircraft bounced which sent the aircraft off the road. The nose wheel gear broke off then the aircraft went over onto its back. Substantial damage was done to the wings and the prop blades broke in addition to the nose gear damage.
