What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) According to the pilot, as the aircraft was slowing down during landing, the left main wheel hit a small "hummuck", or bump on the ground, forcing the nose of the aircraft about two feet into the air. As the nose was coming down, the tailwheel hit the same bump, forcing the tail of the aircraft into the air. This occurred at slow speed. As the tail went up, the propeller hit the ground and the aircraft slowly rolled over onto it's back. The aircraft suffered substantial damage. The pilot, the only sole onboard, was uninjured.
