From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The right wing of the airplane collided with a parked vehicle while the private pilot was taxiing the airplane to a parking space. The airplane sustained minor damage to the leading edge wing skin between two ribs. The pilot reported the following. He was on a solo cross-country instructional flight (commercial pilot), and had just landed at Venice shortly before the incident occurred. As he taxiied the airplane on an FBO ramp to find a parking spot, a woman began "yelling" at him over the CTAF and told him to park in a different location. She directed him to taxi between a parked business jet and maintenacne truck to the parking area. As he did so, the woman continued to "yell" at him. At about that time, he heard a soft thump and hit the brakes. He then saw that the right wing had collided with the truck.
