From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated gear was down and lock, green gear indication light was on, after touch down the nose of the aircraft just continued to go down, propeller blades hit runway and then skidded to a halt. Witness stated, "the airplane was coming in on final high. As it got closer to the runway it started getting slower, about 10 feet above the runway it just fell. The landing gear couldn't take the force of the landing so it gave way then the nose wheel collapsed." Upon inspection of the aircraft the nose gear actuator down lock assembly aft gear attach point and fwd attach bolt sheared off from one end, due to excessive force upon landing.
