From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot was cleared to taxi to the landmark aviation ramp and when he turned right to enter the ramp area a truck operated by an employee of abx air, a freight carrier. The driver openly admitted to the law enforcement officers investigating that his attention was diverted to a departing B-747 which he had just finished loading for an FAR 129 cargo carrier. Along this roadway ground vehicles can routinely be seen traveling faster than the allowable speed limit. The roadway is clearly marked along the way where aircraft have access to cross the road that ground vehicle traffic is to stop for aircraft. The accident was recorded on a security camera at the FBO landmark aviation. All evidences seen byt the reporting inspector shows that the flight crew of this aircraft had no culpability for this accident. Following the accident all parties the flight crew, and the truck driver underwent screening for drugs. The results of that screening have not been completed at the time of this report.
