From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 11/12/2008, at approximately 2230Z after landing rollout on runway 05, Norfolk International Airport Virginia, the ATP rated pilot stated he noticed a pull to the left and a unusual noise from the left landing gear area. The pilot stopped the aircraft and found the left tire partially separated from the wheel. The aircraft was then towed from the runway. An inspection by maintenance personnel found the tire and tube assembly undamaged and the left wheel fairing with minor damage.
