From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On November 24, 2008, N711TH, a Beechcraft model A-36 aircraft, departed moriarty airport (0E0) enroute to Roswell International Air Center Airport (krow). The pilot was cleared to land runway 17 at krow, when the pilot noticed total electrical system failure on turn to final. Due to the system failure the pilot decided to performed a 360 degree flight maneuver and performed a manual emergency landing gear extension. The pilot was unable to verify if landing gear was down and locked through the aircraft landing gear indication system. The plane landed with landing gear down, but all three landing gears legs collapsed shortly after touch down. The initial propeller strike was approximately 100 feet past runway 12 and the aircraft came to rest approximately 500 feet past runway 12 on the southeast side of runway 17.
