From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On taxi-in at evening twilight, about 1800 local time, right wingtip of Cirrus SR22 (N748CD) struck nose cowl of Cessna 150 N60694, parked on east side of dlk aviation ramp area. Main wheels of Cessna on wooden slats on grass while nose wheel on pavement. The Cessna was not occupied at the time of the accident. A painted line in the middle of the taxiway functions as a taxi centerline; however, there is inadequate clearance from aircraft parked on the east side of the taxiway if the painted line is actually used as a taxi-centerline. Minimal damage to N60694, the Cessna 150-small dents in nose cowl and bent baffle plate. Substantial damage to N748CD, the Cirrus SR22- wing-tip not repairable, must be replaced, structural damage/cracks where right wing meets fuselage requiring composite material repair.

As the FAA filed it
