From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On 04/04/2009, during a re-positioning flight from burlington VT, (kbtv) to newark liberty airport (kewr), flight crew noticed an anomaly with the #1 engine oil pressure. During cruise flight at 13000 MSL, the #1 engine developed high oil pressure rising to 117 PSI. (Dial scale references: normal or "green arc" is between 61, and 72 PSI. "Yellow arc" is 72 to 100 PSI) immediately following the event, crew followed aircraft emergency and abnormal checklist to secure the left engine. Crew then diverted to the Albany International Airport (alb) and landed without incident. ARFF responded as a precautionary measure. On 04/04/2009, nsva maintenance at alb, replaced the #1 engine oil pressure transducer. Aircraft departed alb without further incident.
