From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated he completed his downwind checklist but failed to bring down the landing gear. The aircraft landed gear up, sliding on the runway 800-900 feet before stopping. No maintenance inspections have been performed on this aircraft since 2006, therefore "total airframe hours" is not available. The pilot has indicated through his lawyer all communications need to go through the lawyer. Item 29 is not currently known and item 31, "hours make and model", "hours last 90 days", "total hours" and "regulatory checkride" are not filled in. As additional information comes available, an amended 8020-23 will be filed.
