From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) privacy data omitted was manipulating the flight controls while landing N9219E on runway 30 at Whiteman Airport when the aircraft bounced on the runway and went back in the air in a nose high attitude. The aircraft came back down on the runway and began to swerve to the left. The pilot attempted to keep the aircraft from swerving to the left. The aircraft swerved to the right out of control and began skidding on one of the main landing gear tires where it skidded into the dirt area between runway 30 and taxiway alpha. This caused the left wing tip to strike the ground. The left main gear collapsed and was bent toward the fuselage. The aircraft came to rest in the same dirt area and was facing in the opposite direction of runway 30. In accordance with FAA order 4040.9D, chapter 4, section 409, it is recommended that privacy data omitted complete a check flight coordinated by the national flight program and be given couseling by the fan nuys FSDO.

As the FAA filed it

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS MANIPULATING THE FLIGHT CONTROLS WHILE LANDING N9219E ON RUNWAY 30 AT WHITEMAN AIRPORT WHEN THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED ON THE RUNWAY AND WENT BACK IN THE AIR IN A NOSE HIGH ATTITUDE. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAA ORDER 4040.9D, CHAPTER 4, SECTION 409, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ COMPLETE A CHECK FLIGHT COORDINATED BY THE NATIONAL FLIGHT PROGRAM AND BE GIVEN COUSELING BY THE FAN NUYS FSDO.
