From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Upon landing, with 6 knot crosswind and tail wheel down, the pilot pulled the thrust lever into maximum beta. As beta kicked in, the aircraft abruptly turned right. The thrust lever was immediately moved out of beta while simultaneously applying maximum left brake and rudder. These actions could not arrest the right turn and the aircraft ground looped. During the ground loop, the left wheel broke, the left wing tip received minor damage and the left aileron received superficial damage.

As the FAA filed it

DURING THE GROUND LOOP, THE LEFT WHEEL BROKE, THE LEFT WING TIP RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE LEFT AILERON RECEIVED SUPERFICIAL DAMAGE.
