From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft departed eau claire, WI on 05/17/09 for the Crystal Airport in Crystal, MN where it landed at approximately 1330 hours local time. During landing rollout the pilot's footwear caused him to apply uneven pressure to the brakes which caused the aircraft to exit the runway to the left. As the aircraft exited the runway the left main assembly contacted a runway edge light. The light was destroyed and the fairing assembly covering the left main gear assembly incurred minor damage (dent). The propeller also received a couple of small abrasions. The pilot regained control of the aircraft and taxied back to its parking area without further incident. The aircraft belongs to the flying scotchman flight school.
