From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On July 10, 2009 at approximately 11:00 am, pilot privacy data omitted, with 5 passengers on board landed on the "clamming beach" at chinitna bay. This beach is located on the north side of the bay, the second bay in from spring point. On roll out after landing, going about 15 mph the airplane hit a soft spot and started to sink in. After about a plane length the plane's front tire gave out and the prop hit the sand, immediately stopping the engine. There were no injuries. This was a non-revenue flight, operating under part 91.
