From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On July 13, 2009, at approxiamtely 2248 UTC, N93CA a Beechcraft BE-18 operated by coastal air, LLC (5CLA), privacy data omitted pilot-in-command, landed at the Yakutat muncipal airport (paya) on runway 29. During the landing rollout and approximately at the midpoint of the runway, the pilot lost control of the aicraft, ground looped with a turn to the left. The aircraft then exited the runway surface to the left of the runway edge, striking a single runway light. The resulting side load caused the right main gear to collapse with additional substantial damage to the right wing and associated structure, the right aileron and flap surfaces, right-side propeller, and minor damage to gear doors. The aircraft came to rest approximately 40 feet to the left of the runway edge facing approximately 290 degrees.
