What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
I participated in the investigation of N336PG and found that on the morning of July 26, 2009 at approximately 0800, during a routine check of the airport grounds upon the arrival of the morning shift, an FBO employee spotted an aircraft in a grassy field at the FAR north end of taxiway "a" and runway 18. The aircraft, a Beech bonanza N336PG, s/n E2608, appeared to have had an onboard fire and sustained substantial damage. No occupants were found in or around the aircraft. The owner of this aircraft stated that he had flown the aircraft for approximately 35 mins the previous day and did not notice any discrepancies or maintenance issues upon his return to the Immokalee Airport.
