From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed chena marina airstrip for a 900 foot long ridgetop strip at about 4000 foot elevation 75 miles NE of Fairbanks, AK with an intermediate stop at van curlers bar. Upon landing at the ridgetop strip the pilot stated she misjudged her touchdown point and landed approximately half way down the runway and ran off the end of the strip. The aircraft flipped over and was substantially damaged. The pilot stated that gusty winds and density altitude may have been a factor.
