From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After crossing the threshold of runway 34 at U42 the pilot reduced power and flared the aircraft high, stalling the aircraft several meters above the runway causing the aircraft to impact the ground, bouncing back into the air and drifted left, the pilot applied full power for a go-around, the aircraft yawed to the left and pitched down, the aircraft was in a nose pitch low, the right wing struck the ground, the aircraft settled on the left edge of the runway and exited the runway impacting runway edge lights with the propeller and wheel fairings. The aircraft sustained damage to the wheel fairings, all three wheels were bent, right wing tip light broken, propeller blades bent and broken, both flaps had impact damage.
