From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During rollout after landing on runway 9 the aircraft veered to the left and departed the runway. The left wing left the ground and the aircraft rotated clockwise on its nose and right wing until the left wing contacted the ground at which time the aircraft came to rest on its landing gear. Inspection of the aircraft revealed that the clevis pin, (part # 424-230) had sheared where it attaches the steering arm (part # 44386-03 to the inner strut assy (part # 65888-00). This allowed the nose wheel to rotate 90 degrees to the left bending the steering stop and engine mount tube. The rod end (part# 452-334) that attaches the shimmy dampener to the nose gear was also found broken. The failed parts were obtained from the aircraft owner and forwarded to the NTSB for analysis.

As the FAA filed it
