From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot was returning from his scheduled private pilot check ride at esn Maryland. The flight portion of his test was cancelled due to rain and 15 knot winds. During his return to base the pilot heard intermittent stall warning indications. All other indications were normal however the pilot elected to execute a precautionary landing at anp Maryland. Pilot carried extra speed due to the intermittent stall warning and elected to land long rather than execute a go-around. The aircraft slid off the end of the wet runway resulting in minor damage to aircraft propeller and wing strut. The mechanic was contacted regarding the stall warning and he said that the stall warning system was inspected and tested and could not find any issues with the system. The mechanic also was the one that flew the aircraft back to fme and stated that there was no issue with the stall warning system when he flew the aircraft back to its home base.
