From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman zhang, a student at us flight academy, was attempting to land on runway 35 at dto airport on November 9, 2009, in N5403H, a Cessna 152. She stated that the tower cleared her to land, however she was too close to the aircraft on final, so she elected to go around. On her second attempt, she stated she was a little fast on final, and the tower asked her to make the the taxiway A5 after landing. She landed and tried to taxi clear of the runway A5, however the aircraft departed the taxiway and the left main tire hit three taxi lights. Very minor damage to the wheel pants on the left gear (scratched paint). Us flight academy instructor katy atkins immediately counseled and instructed her on proper landing procedures and ATC requests.
