From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On February 3, 2010 at 1748 CST freeman jet l.l.c. operating a CL-600 challenger, departed little rock, Arkansas (klit) enroute to Topeka, Kansas (kfoe). On landing, the following was reported by the flight crew; the right main landing gear two tires were blown, a left main landing gear tire blown, and a 4 to 5 inch dent on the right hand inboard trailing edge flap. Emergency vehicles were dispatched for precautionary reasons due to suspected hot brakes. The aircraft was disabled on the runway, and the nine passengers were deplaned safely. The wichita, Kansas Bombardier repair station was called to tow the aircraft off the runway. The flight crew stated that when they left klit, they noticed slush on the carbon fiber brakes which may have caused the wheels to freeze, thereby causing the tires to blow on landing.
