What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Based on weather observation of temperature 4C, dewpoint -6C and relative humidity of 50 %, conditions conducive to carburetor icing were present during flight. The pilot was maneuvering to take pictures. The flight regime of slow flight varying power settings also were a factor. At the time of engine power loss, RPM was reduced to approximately 1900 and carburetor heat was not initally applied. Pilot completed biennial flight review on 12/06/2009
