From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot landed on runway 04 at Aeroacres Airport OG30. This is a grass strip 1800 ft which was recently mowed and in good condition. Pilot reported he landed fast with full flaps (70 mph). N209MT bounced and he added power to stabilize. He settled on the runway under control. At about midfield he realized he was still fast and he did not feel he could go around and out climb the trees and houses on the north end of the airport. With hard braking applied the aircraft slid in the grass over 300 ft before coming to the end of the runway. With no overrun area at the north east end of runway 04 the aircraft slid off the end and into a 3-4 foot deep ditch resulting in substantial damage to the LH wing. The propeller struck the ground and stopped the engine on first blade impact.
