From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During taxi approximately 200 feet from the runway, following an uneventful flight the right gear collapsed and the aircraft turned into the grass. Upon entering the grass the left gear partially collapsed. The nose gear remained down locked and extended. The propeller did not sustain a propeller strike. Due to the fact that the pneumatic landing gear does not completely retract into the wings by design the aircraft only received minor damage. The owner operator of this aircraft has stated and documented that the aircraft is scheduled for a detailed inspection to determine cause in may of 2010. Mrd will be submitted upon determination of cause.
