From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After making two takeoffs and landings on runway 8, the pilot changed to runway 22 because the AWOS reported the wind from 240 at 6 knots. At the completiion of the pattern the aircraft touched down for a normal wheel landing. After crossing the intersection of runway 8/26, the aircraft went out of control, ground looped and came to rest off the left edge of runway 22 with the wings parallel to the runway edge. The right main gear leg was damaged.
