What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Aircraft hit its right wing on a tree went through a barb wire fence and impacted the ground. There was not any evidence that there was flight control or engine problems. There was prop strikes on the ground which brings to the conclusion that there was engine power. A witness said that he saw the aircraft about 500 feet and looked a way. He heard the engine power back and when he looked again the aircraft was in a partial spin. It almost pancaked the ground but thats when it hit the tree. The pilot was seriously injured and have not been able to interview him.
