From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC stated that the approach to landing was normal and uneventful. However, during the landing phase, the aircraft's nosewheel touched first and resulted in the aircraft "ballooning" and becoming airborne again. The bounced landing resulted in a second touchdown which damaged the propeller. The PIC stated that she was unaware of the prop strike and made the decision to go around as a result of the bounced landing. She realized that the propeller must have been damaged due to the limited aircraft performance during the go around. The PIC was able to maneuver around the traffic pattern and land the aircraft safely.

As the FAA filed it
