From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On may 19, 2010, at approximately 1900Z, aircraft departed from lga, enroute to pwm, with a final cruise altitude of FL 250. While in cruise phase of flight, crew observed the #1 hydraulic low pressure message on eicas. As a result, flight crew declared an emergency, and diverted to Albany, NY. While descending to alb, the engine driven hydraulic pump (edp) was indicating 2500 PSI, with fluid temperature 20 degrees celsius. As the flight crew was reviewing the quick reference handbook (qrh), a single chime alerted the crew, that neither the acmp, nor the edp, indicated in the green arc. Further observation by the flight crew showed the #1 hydraulic pressure at zero. Aircraft landed at alb, without difficulty. As a precautionary measure, fire and rescue assisted aircraft to the ramp.

As the FAA filed it
