From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot departed on a local flight without incident. As he entered the left traffic for runway 15 and made a visual approach to the grass runway he was using adjacent to the runway. The pilot admitted to flaring the airplane high, and landed hard in the grass separating the left main landing gear. He stated he lost directional control of the airplane as it nosed over inverted and came to a complete stop. There were no mechanical problems identified with the airplane at any time during landing.
