From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot fueled aircraft with 42 gallons of fuel, 20-L and 22-R tank. Pilot flew aircraft for about 20 min. On each tank. In cruise the pilot made a richer mixture adjustment from 15GPH to 18 gph, after noticing an EGT rise. The engine, currently on left tank, quit running. The pilot switched to the right tank, switched on the aux boost pump and was unable to restart the engine. The pilot completed a forced landing into soft mounded tundra, and the aircraft did a small glide, stopped vertical for a few seconds, then nosed onto it's back.
