What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During the takeoff roll, the pilot determined the aircraft had not reached a safe liftoff speed by the pilot's predetermined go/no-go spot. At that point the pilot elected to abort the takeoff. Due to a wet runway surface (grass), the pilot was unable to stop the aircraft on the remaining runway and the aircraft exited the end of the runway and collided with a signpost and a large boulder, causing substantial damage.
