From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 07/13/2010 at 1540 CDT, aircraft was given takeoff clearance from kdwh airport on runway 17R. As aircraft proceeded on taxiway-a around the sharp, narrow corner to runway 17R for takeoff, the RH MLG went off the taxiway into the mud/grass. The RH MLG immediately sank, causing the RH wing tip to strike the ground, breaking the RH position light. No other damage was evident, even after aircraft was inspected further in hangar.
