From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot stated he was attempting a landing at Myricks air field in Berkley, MA. The first attempt was aborted and he went around for a second attempt. On the second attempt he impacted the grass landing strip hard going airborne again. The jarring caused him to have to readjust in his seat, inadvertently putting his feet on the top of the rudder pedals. This action caused the brakes to be applied and upon the second impact caused the aircraft to flip, coming to rest upside down. No injuries. This inspector is going to recommend a 44709 re-exam.
