From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was flying in general area of airport and was practicing touch and go's landing on the grass strip on runway 31 for the first part of the morning. Pilot was on his last flight of day, on left down wind leg for the approach for a landing on runway 31. As the aircraft was landing on final, the aircraft speed was slowing down to make a three point landing. The pilot commanded a hard right hand turn to avoid several antelope that was running along the left side of the aircraft when several of the animals changed directions and ran directly in front aircraft. Upon swerving to the right, the aircraft was forced to ground loop, collapsing the left landing gear , striking the propeller and damaging the left wing as the airplane came to a rest.
