From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Bi-annual flight review, last bi-annual was 04/08, departed crystal river at aprox 18:15 on simmulated flight plan to craig field in jax, diverted to Williston to perform soft field landing, first landing was successful, CFI told Mr. Redrick to try it again and he would show him how it should be done. On second attempt, Mr. Redrick said the a/c was to high and slow and that he was not comfortable but figured the CFI had more experience and knew what he was doing. A/c stalled aprox 10 ft. off rwy and landed on nose wheel which collapsed and prop struck rwy.
