From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was practicing night solo proficiency after not flying for a year. The pilot had just received recurrent training and a check ride. This was the pilot's home field. The pilot had made several landings to both runways. On final for 19 the pilot struck a power pole or power line. The damage was limited to scrape marks on the wheel pants. The pole in question is not charted, unlite, 20 feet taller, over 125 feet closer, less than 1000 feet to the end of the runway, on center line and not known to the Alabama state aeronautical division.
