From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During landing, operator could not reduce power of the PT6A-35. The aircraft landed at Washington County Airport (afj) at 1900 local September 7, 2010 runway 28, the only damage was the right main tire had locked and wore through two cords, but held air. Investigation revealed that the aircraft had been modified per STC SA02279AT with an after market high intensity landing light system. The power supply for the landing light was mounted on the forward engine firewall above and behind the PT6A-35 fuel control unit. The power supply was secured to the firewall per the STC with adhesive. The adhesive failed and the power supply became lodged in the fcu linkage preventing power reduction.
