From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed from Naknek (AK) north strip intending to land at Naknek (AK) south strip. In less than 15 minutes flight, on final approach to Naknek south strip, experienced loss of power. Suspected carburetor icing, used carburetor heat control but no effect. Attempting to land on Naknek south strip, during left base for final, observed another aircraft in pattern for that strip. Swung wide to avoid other aircraft. Pulled carb heat again, no incease in power. Opting not to endanger other aircraft, elected for emergency landing on road. Tailwheel caught power lines causing him to hit road hard and then off of edge of road into 10 foot alder trees where he came to rest.
