From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Arrived at miv at 1530 local, the aircraft was stopped on the runway approximately half the length of runway 32. The left main landing gear tire, inner tube and outer retaining ring seperated during landing rollout. The airport operations manager had located the tire, retaining ring and the inner tube just past the intersection of runway 32 and 28. The inner retaining ring could not be located. Skid marks on the runway indicated that the aircraft skidded on the wheel for approximately 400 feet before it stopped.
