From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot in command flew solo to khum. Pilot received a weather report showing clear weather and calm winds. Pilot requested and received clearance to perform touch and go on runway 18 with left turn to the north. Pilot made a successful landing, retracted flaps and proceeded to apply power to take-off. Pilot over corrected for left wing lift and veered to the left at intersection of runway 12 and 18. Pilot was unable to slow aircraft after veering to the left and struck the 3000FT marker with left wing as the aircraft departed the intersection entering grass area.
