From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Instructor and student pilot were unfamiliar with the Millville airport taxiways. After landing, they became disorientated while taxing to find the FBO. Pilots turned down wrong taxiway and as it became narrow, the student pilot decided to turn left at a junction to return to main taxiway starting point. The flight instructor took the controls to avoid an obstacle (plastic marker) on the taxiway and turned right. While turning right the aircraft's left wing tip impacted on fence and fence pole. Aircraft stopped and shutdown until towed to FBO.
