From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman stated that while taxiing away from his company ramp a parked fork lift forced him to make a ninety degree right turn. As he made the right turn he watched the left wing tip closely so that he wouldn't hit the fork lift. Once the turn was made and he was clear of the fork lift the airman indicated he taxied straight ahead impacting a pile of snow that was not visible from the pilot seat. The snow pile was estimated to be 10 foot in diameter and four feet tall.

As the FAA filed it
