From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On takeoff from fll even though there were safe gear indications the PIC could not move the landing gear lever to retract the gear .he advised ATC of the situation and returned and landed at fll. Embraer maintenance technicians performed a procedure for prolong parking found in the POH REV5 page 5-15 and the gear retracted satisfactory. It was determined by Embraer safety specialist that the aircraft sat idle for 18 days and the pilot failed to perform the procedure for the return to service after prolonged parking (8 to 28 days) found in the POH.
