From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On approach for landing at eug pilot noted RH gear did not indicate down and locked, pilot aborted landing and retracted and extended gear several times but could not get a good down and locked indication. Flew by tower and tower reported gear appeared visualy to be down. Pilot landed ok but on turning off runway and slight application of brakes the right wing settled causing the propeller to strike the ground and the RH wing tip to scrape slightly on the surface. Only minor damage to aircraft. No injuries to pilot.
