From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was landing runway 12 at U77. During the landing touch down the pilot stated that he felt a gust of wind veer the aircraft towards the left side of the runway. The pilot was unable to correct the aircraft back towards the right. However, the pilot decided at some point to keep the aircraft going straight towards the left rather than try to turn at a low altitude. The aircraft came to rest near the papi's on the left side of the runway. The aircraft damage was limited to the propeller and wheel ferrings. The pilot and two passengers were not injured.
