From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon landing, the aircraft caught a gust of wind from the left side that lifted the aircraft off the ground and displaced it to the right of the runway surface. The aircraft suffered substantial damage to the right wing spar. The engines ingested FOD and all three landing gears were destoyed. The forecast and reported winds were within the pilot and aircraft tolerances. Local climatological data shows evidence of a cold front passage approximately three hours prior to the accident. Gusty winds were persistent throughout the day.
