From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During landing at hto airport onto runway 28, the pilot reported that during the flare and touchdown a strong gust of wind caused the aircraft to drift from the runway centerline. The aircraft then yawed left. And immediately started heading toward the grass area along the runway. The aircraft struck a runway light and continued on the grass until it struck an elevated dirt mound service road, separating the nose wheel landing gear and causing substanial damage to the propeller, engine firewall and left wing tip. The aircraft received substanial damage as a result of this accident. No injuries were reported by the occupants.
