From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During agricultural opertions the pilot surveyed the field to be sprayed and then commenced his spray runs. Pilot stated that as he was applying fungicide to the wheat field he struck two high voltage powerlines. The aircraft continued to fly without any noticiable changes to aircraft handling or system failures. Pilot completed application of the field and landed the aircraft. Upon inspection pilot noted a minor nick in the propeller and scuff marks on the wing. Propeller was addressed by maintenance, wings marks inspected and the aircraft returned to service.
