From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that the aircraft became airborn again shortly after touchdown. He estimated to be about 5 feet above the ground and attempted a go around. The engine failed to produce power when the throttle was advanced. The aircraft settled back on the runway hard enough to bend the right main gear outward. The aircraft then veered off the right side of the runway. Pilot stated the engine remained at idle and was unresponsive to throttle movement after coming to rest beside the runway before shutting down the engine.

As the FAA filed it
